Our authors Finnoula Louise,
and Crystal Rivera had a great time. Check out the pix below.
Princeton Library's Local Author Day
The day began at 10 am with morning workshops for all local writers (both published and unpublished).
A full day of activities featured over 3 dozen local authors! Area authors displayed and signed books from 1 to 4 p.m. in the community room.
Finnoula Louise was among 15 authors who took the stage in the front lobby to talk about their books and give readings. The Princeton Packet published a very nice articleThe day concluded with readings and a meet-and-greet session with members of the Philadelphia Liars Club.
Visit to Lincoln Elementary School In Edison, NJ
Finnoula spoke in an assembly with 300 children at Lincoln Elementary in Edison, NJ on November 16. The topic was :Using the 5 Steps of the Writing Process.: Students got to hear first hand how a "little author" writes and publishes a real book. Then, a brief science lesson ensued as Finn read her Aminals Animals book aloud, and Stephanie Cahill interjected images, sounds, and facts about each animal in Finn's book. The engagement ended with very lively Q&A with an excited and interested group of students. To see a video compilation of our visit, interview, and book signing go to the Edison School Network TV and select "categories" then "school events" then choose "Child Author Visits Lincoln School."
The Ashcroft School, Provo, Turks & Caicos
While on vacation in beautiful Turks and Caicos, Finnoula Louise visited a school and bookstore. At The Ashcroft School, Finn spoke with 50 students about writing books and being an author. She then read her book to a captivated audience. A lively Q&A session afterward, provided insights into what the students are writing about themselves, as well as new book ideas for Miss Finnoula. Thanks so much to all the students and staff for a fun morning at your lovely island school. A visit to Unicorn Bookstore, gave Finn the chance to pick up some local author's books and leave some signed copies of her books behind.
FAO Schwarz in NY, NY  Finn was given the VIP treatment at the greatest toy store in the world. She read to captivated kids four times, and signed books in between.
